I received treatment much faster than I anticipated after my initial wait time. My diagnosis was quick and thorough. Sally (my prescriber) was really helpful and worked with me to find the right medication for me. I'm so glad I finally have a tool to help me deal with my ADHD. I must stress, there isn't a fix all medication that worked for me, more one that covered the most areas with the least side effects. Thank you.

Doctor didn’t listen to a word I said during assessment, this was shown in their wildly inaccurate clinicians letter. Stated I need a follow up appointment before a treatment plan can be arranged…that never happened & I just got a message saying I need to go back to my GP. Entirely unimpressed with this doctor’s care.

I was referred to Psychiatry UK in Oct 2022 by my GP as my diagnosis from another country wasn't 'accepted' here under the NHS. The local wait times were 3+ years. I was seen for my assessment in Feb 2023, the appointment was at a time to suit me so I didn't have to take time off work and it was online. My psychiatrist was thorough in my assessment and I felt the report was comprehensive. I waited until Aug 2023 for my titration. It was done supportively and with care. Any queries I had were dealt with extremely quickly by my prescriber (Lorraine) and she was excellent at respecting my autonomy in the titration as well as working for the best outcome for me. The process felt easy and supportive and I found the portal easy to navigate. I can't recommend them enough and think they set the standard of care that should be expected when you are dealing with mental health. The only thing that could have been better is the time taken between referral and assessment, assessment and titration but I recognise that is due to the significant increase in those needing assessments/titration throughout the country and absolutely not a reflection on Psychiatry UK who are providing an essential service when the NHS wait times are absurd.

NHS right to choose patient. The overall experience with P-UK has been great. Clear timeline communication & easy to use portal. My assessment came through 2 weeks earlier than estimated and medication titration due to start soon (Nov) when originally estimated to be in Jan! I took the pre-assessment report questions quite literally when relating my experiences & struggled to categorise symptoms/experiences under the right ones. I was hoping the assessment would delve deeper but from a different angle & having prepared my notes under symptom types, I felt too frazzled to refer to them in the assessment, as we went through the same pre assessment question format. I missed out key examples of issues because of this, instead rehashed the same answers previously given. Ive seen a lot of people asking about how to prepare for their assessment & I think it could be useful to have a template sent out to pending patients, which they can use to make symptom/example notes in the lead up to their assessment. Or be advised to make notes in accordance to the pre-assessment questions if it should only be to this.

I'm so happy Psy UK took care of me in an extremely difficult year in my life. I'm new to private health care. Must admit It took a while to get used to the rules of titration & not running out of meds. As having ADHD & autism there's a lot of rules & it's very strict. I suppose it has to be. Dr sambhi was great as my assesesor. I commend my assessor & prescriber for there patience in dealing with me. Extremely professional indeed. My prescriber Oluwafunso Kolawole very professional indeed. Admin lovely also. very quick to respond to my enquires. I'm very happy to say I'm at the end of titration. It's been a bumpy ride, but worth it in the end. Thank you very much team Psy uk

To speak constructively, I felt that in the future Dr Wildgrube could be more sensitive about her patient's conditions and not make light of them in written communications, taking a more sympathetic approach rather than hostility.

I had my appointment via Teams, this was really efficient and easy to use. My appointment was really professional whilst making me feel at ease and in safe hands. I felt really listened to and not rushed by my Doctor, he was really understanding of my situation and was obviously very highly qualified. All in all a fantastic if not emotional experience, would highly recommend.

I was referred to Psychiatry UK for assessment by my GP after discussing my symptoms. I cannot thank them enough, the assessment, the whole experience has been so well organised and it has changed my life. The titration service is wonderful and I felt like an individual with a voice and it felt like a team effort. I have felt supported and cared for throughout my whole experience. 10/10 highly recommend.

Wow what a fantastic service from start to finish! My psychiatrist Richard was so thorough in his assessment, he was very knowledgeable, compassionate and I really felt listened to. My prescriber Helen was also very knowledgeable, so kind, person centred, and responsive in her messages. I feel the portal works very well, its easy navigate and to leave a message, and you have a response quickly. I appreciate that I received both text and email to say when I have a new message. I also found every time I have called the call handlers they have been so warm and are very nice people. I have to say the level of care psychiatry UK truly is outstanding, and the service is excellent!. The care I have received has been far better than any other health service I have ever used! I would definitely recommend and thank you for all what you have done. You have changed my life.
